Cooking at home doesn’t just nourish your body—it creates a connection to the ingredients and the journey they’ve taken to reach your plate. Recipe Inspiration is soo good!!! When your meat comes straight from the farm, like our premium grass-fed beef and free-range lamb, you’re working with ingredients that are as fresh and flavourful as they come.
Bringing Farm-Fresh Flavour to Your Table
So, it’s funny—I cook every night and am always wondering what I can make for the family as a new taste sensation or just something a bit different from the norm. If you’re like me, always on the hunt for recipe inspiration, here are a couple of recipes I’ve been trying out lately with our delicious Morgan’s Meadow meats.
1. Comforting Classics
Nothing says “home-cooked meal” like a hearty meatloaf or savoury beef stew. Recently, I made meatballs with our premium beef mince, seasoned with garlic, herbs, and a touch of Worcestershire sauce—simple, flavourful, and always a hit with the family. Try that for some recipe inspriation or for a Sunday treat, try a slow-cooked lamb shoulder; the tender, fall-off-the-bone goodness is perfect for sharing.
Pro tip: Pair these dishes with fresh, seasonal vegetables to enhance the natural flavours of the meat.
2. Quick Weeknight Dinners
Busy evenings don’t have to mean boring meals. I’ve been loving stir-fries with lean beef strips, seasoned and tossed with crunchy veggies, or a quick lamb chop dinner seasoned with garlic, olive oil, and rosemary, grilled to perfection. Both are fast, easy, and packed with flavor!
Tip for busy families: Double the recipe for leftovers that taste just as good the next day.
3. Show-Stopping Festive Feasts
When you want to impress, our whole free-range lamb or Angus beef cuts can’t be beaten. I recently roasted a herb-crusted leg of lamb for friends, and it was the highlight of the evening. Or go big with a ribeye roast—succulent, juicy, and perfect for carving at the table.
Pairing Idea: Serve with roasted potatoes, fresh bread, and a bold red wine to make it unforgettable.
4. Meal Prep Like a Pro
Lately, I’ve been using our beef mince to batch-cook spaghetti Bolognese and lamb curry. It’s perfect for freezing and makes for quick, satisfying lunches or dinners when time is short. With high-quality meat, even simple recipes become something special.

Delicious Juicy Rissoles
Well as you would assume we have a freezer full of our free range lamb and beef. Lately rissoles have been the order of the day and I’ve been trying difference recipes to suit our family’s palate. This works for us and is delicious!
Ingredients
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
500g Morgan’s Meadow Premium Beef Mince
1 small carrot (grated)
2 eggs
2 tbsp minced garlic
Sprinkle of mixed herbs
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Squirt of BBQ sauce
Squirt of tomato sauce
1/2 cup cheese
Method
Mix it all together, get in there with your hands and make small balls. Roll them in breadcrumbs.
I cook them with a spray of oil in the fry pan on the stove until golden brown on the outside.
Serve a fresh salad (I like to make a plate of cheese, lettuce, tomato, cucumber) and everyone digs in and adds them to their plate or the kids like to make a wrap out of them.
